2018 is the year of the Detroit auto show.
As sales grow, the truck sector is seeing huge innovations, and we like the results.
Natural gas is cheap and people are working, so the Detroit three think they can do the haystack when the sun is shining – by spending a lot of time and money on truck development.
The Detroit auto show in 2018 is evidence of this, as we see three new trucks making their debut, each more technologically advanced than the last. Let’s take a look at some of the most important trucks at this year’s north American international auto show.
Ford ranger in 2019.
The Ranger has been listed in the United States for the first time since 2011, and we think these kids will call it “lighting AF”. We agree. In 2019 ford ranger is kicking sand in the Chevrolet Colorado face a 2.3 -liter EcoBoost engine from, if we are lucky horse units, because it will let the ranger of the most powerful models in its segment and open a bunch of hilarious adjustment possibilities. Some internal parts have adjusted the truck’s responsibilities, but we are optimistic.
The Ranger can also get some trickle-down Raptor technology in the form of terrain management systems, which will help drivers get out of the way when they leave the sidewalk. Other highlights include frame steel bumpers, aluminum hood and rear baffles, and standard automatic emergency braking and rear view cameras.
We expect the rangers to go crazy, and we can’t wait to get one. Ford has been silent about the possibility of a raptor version, because it exists in other markets, but we are crossing all fingers and toes, hoping it will happen.

Ford ranger: ford’s struggle to return to a mid-size truck.
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado.
The Chevrolet bread and butter pickups were upgraded in 2019 with some serious upgrades. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is based on a completely new architecture, which means that unlike the old version, you don’t get stuck in technical time warp. You can now access cool things like wireless charging and available buttons, which were not available in the past, although I’m sure some people will complain about the lack of a correct key.
The general told us that Silverado would initially receive a choice of two V8 engines – a 5.3 liter and a 6.2 liter, but the power and torque Numbers have not yet been announced. We do know that they will have a hot new fuel management system that will disable the fuel economy between one and seven cylinders. On the horizon there is a 3.0-liter inline 6 cylinder diesel engine that can be bolted to a 10 speed automatic transmission.
While the new silfrodo face may be more than one extreme, the fact that Chevrolet managed to save 450 pounds from the truck is impressive. This is done by selectively using aluminium instead of steel, although the bed is still steel, as the Chevrolet representative quickly pointed out. Despite this, the weight loss of Silverado will not make Silverado synonymous with lotus, but the savings in weight will bring huge gains in processing and fuel economy.
The Ram full-size truck series has long been a choice for people looking for a lot of biological comfort, and can carry a bed full of fertilizer. That hasn’t changed. Within the 1500’s of the 2019 ram, there is now a ton of extra space, thanks to millions of inches of wheelbase users. Rear seats can now be heated and cooled, and octave reclining.
This time, Ram turned the technology wheel to 11, with an optional 12-inch portrait touch-screen infotainer, basically like two UConnect systems running at the same time. All of our favorite UConnect features are there, including a configurable hot rail and excellent responsiveness. The design is a complete change in the truck, and we hope it will lead to a better game.
Buyers can choose from two types of powertrain solutions: 3.6 -liter V6 or 5.7 -liter Hemi V8, these two models are equipped with the optional eTorque mild electric hybrid system, helps to improve when required torque. The rated power of V6 is 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet, while Hemi is 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet. Diesel options will also be available in 2019. Now, Chevrolet and ford are also planning to offer light diesel engines in the near future, and this time will not be the only fuel burner in the class.
Smart technology helps you get ready to move a day or more.
As you can see, the trucks don’t go back to their utilitarian roots in Sparta, and we’re happy. It is also great to see Detroit’s mid-size truck market offering Japan some real competitors for the first time in a few years.
We can’t wait to drive all three of these testosterone magnets, and we’ll tell you all about it.
